Invitation for Scholarly Contributions – Upcoming Issue
The Canadian Journal of Interdisciplinary Research Studies (CJIRS) hereby invites the submission of high-quality scholarly manuscripts for consideration in its forthcoming issue. CJIRS is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, and open-access journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary inquiry across the humanities, sciences, education, technology, and emerging fields of research.
The journal provides an intellectually rigorous platform for original research that integrates diverse disciplinary perspectives, addresses complex global challenges, and contributes meaningfully to academic discourse and societal development.
SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL
CJIRS publishes empirical, theoretical, methodological, and conceptual studies within four principal sections:
1. Humanities & Culture
This section welcomes research exploring human experiences, cultural identities, communication, discourse, literature, linguistics, philosophy, religion, and the arts. Submissions should demonstrate analytical depth, cultural relevance, and scholarly rigor.
2. Science & Technology
This section seeks contributions in applied sciences, engineering, innovation, computing, environmental science, AI, food systems, sustainable development, and related fields that advance scientific knowledge and technological progress.
3. Education & Society
This section publishes research on pedagogy, leadership, educational reform, social development, learning systems, equity in education, curriculum studies, and the sociocultural dimensions of learning and human development.
4. Interdisciplinary Perspectives
This broad section encourages manuscripts that bridge multiple fields to address critical global issues including sustainability, globalization, governance, ethics, digital transformation, public policy, and emerging cross-disciplinary themes.
TYPES OF MANUSCRIPTS ACCEPTED
CJIRS accepts a wide range of scholarly submissions:
- Full-length Research Articles
- Theoretical and Conceptual Papers
- Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses
- Case Studies and Applied Research
- Short Research Notes
- Book Reviews
- Policy and Practice Reports (where academically justified)
All submissions must demonstrate originality, methodological soundness, relevance, and clear contribution to knowledge.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Manuscripts must:
- Be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere
- Follow APA 7th Edition referencing and formatting standards
- Include an abstract (150–250 words) and 5–7 keywords
- Include full author details (name, affiliation, email, ORCID where applicable)
- Be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF format

REVIEW PROCESS
All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review conducted by qualified international scholars.
Authors can expect an initial decision within 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

- Notification of Review Decision: 2–4 weeks after submission
